I loved my year at the lovely Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, where I completed the Post Graduate Certificate in Applied Theatre with Young People. I was inspired and supported by some incredible people there! To make things even better, the course joined forces with the Almeida Theatre, so I trained as a Drama Facilitator with their fabulous Projects department. Talk about a life-changing experience. Before that, I was at City University London reading an MA in Creative Writing for Plays and Script. I was taught by world-class tutors and met some famous playwrights, too!
Since 2012, I have worked as a freelance Drama Facilitator on several educational projects with Almeida Projects (now Participate) for secondary schools and young adults; I have run workshops for Theatrebugs in nurseries and for Stomping Ground Theatre in Primary Schools. I also spent two years teaching Poppets at Pauline Quirke Academy in Woodford Green.
I read scripts for a new-writing theatre in London and teach playwriting to adults and children. I am a freelance dramaturg; I write in English and Italian and my work has been staged in London and Italy.
